Nestled at the foot of the Sandia Mountains, Placitas is 25 miles north of Albuquerque and 50 miles south of Santa Fe. For nearly 4 decades this annual art festival has been reknowned for extremely high quality fine arts and crafts, good food, and a very friendly atmosphere. The fair takes place at 3 locations in the village of Placitas, long known as a home to many artists and artisans.
