Description:

From Renaissance Arts Faire 2014 Website:

Anticipation is building for the 43rd Annual Renaissance ArtsFaire on November 1st & 2nd, 2014, two fun-filled days of entertainment, food, shopping and merriment! Held annually at Young Park, this is one of the largest cultural events in Southern New Mexico. We bring you 150 juried artists, food vendors and entertainers, all reminiscent of a time of romance, royalty, and chivalry.

Magellan, our beloved dragon that shows up in the Young Park pond each year during the Renaissance ArtsFaire, will reappear this year in his new, redesigned form. Magellans rebirth is the work of artist Bob Diven with help from the New Mexico State University Engineering Department and Patricia Hynes of the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium. Please visit the Magellan Project tent at the Faire to see a storyboard of how Magellan was reborn.

The Renaissance ArtsFaire involves the whole community; all food booths benefit non-profit organizations, and local nonprofit organizations promote their activities through information booths or childrens activities.
This year, we invite Food Vendors, Mind and Body Vendors, Non-Profit Organizations, Holiday Craft Village Vendors and Childrens Realm Vendors (Non-profits, Businesses and Peddlersartists 16yrs old and under) to apply via our website. Here you will find application forms to download, fill out and send to us.

All professional Artists, Performing Artists, and Products of the Southwest vendors are required to apply on-line at ********.***.
