| Description: | Location: New Grounds Print Workshop & Gallery Maseman’s colorful and quirky etchings feature anachronistic modes of travel and incongruous characters. These protagonists travel through their world, perhaps looking or searching for something. They don’t know where or when they will find it, or maybe even what “it” is, but they have an abiding faith that they will reach their destination. Underlying much of Maseman’s work are reflections about home—whether it is a place one is going to, leaving from, or is carried within. Maseman’s works could be characterized as children’s stories, but they are more for adults (or the child within us) than for children. Whether you are an adult or a child, Maseman’s etchings will bring a smile to your face! There will be a etching demonstration by Ray Maseman from 6:30 to 7 PM during the reception.
