Waddell & Reed's “Honoring Our History” Traveling World War I Exhibition will roll into Albuquerque, NM, for its 28th stop on a national 75-city tour at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum on Friday, January 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Developed in partnership with the National World War I Museum, the traveling exhibition invites the public to experience the sites and sounds of World War I and honor World War I veterans and all veterans since. Visitors will experience the tight conditions of trench warfare, see the relatively primitive tools, weapons, equipment and uniforms of a war nearly 100 years ago. The traveling exhibition will be located in the parking lot of the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum at 9201 Balloon Museum Drive NE, just south of Balloon Fiesta Park (North of Alameda) in Albuquerque. Admission to the Traveling World War I Exhibition is free. Regular admission will apply to the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, however admission for all active duty military, their card-holder family members, retirees and veterans will be only $1 on January 13.
